Kantara, The Film

Kantara - The Mystical Forest emanating divinity through its land and people.
I was at awe after watching this film, like many others in the theater. Literally no words, my whole body traversed into different state, to stay at a divine sojourn.
Kantara is one of the best film which I watched in recent times.
I am a religious person and adhere to my divine roots. I strongly believe in God, the only force which makes us to live and learn this life.
Like plenty of us, I have also felt the sense of divinity at age old temples, when visiting some home, or being with kids and some old aged people. I have always enjoyed and love to be in such environment, forever! The reason for kids and old aged are, for me they are the purest form of humankind. The former is all set with their curious wide eyes and open soul to walk this treacherous life journey. The latter are the people who tasted all those sweetness and bitterness from this life tree and ready to be served as a manure to the same.
Coming back to the subject, I feel my ancestors presence and their comforting words when I step into the premises of my kula deivam shrine. My Kula Deivam is Yakshi Amman, fierce and powerful Goddess. The open shrine with no roof is situated at Kodungallur, Kerala. The Devi happily resides under the shade of a slender but strong tree, enjoying cold rains, scorching sun, bitter winds and all seasons. I grew up hearing those mystical stories of The Devi from my elders. And also developed those vivid imagination and imprints of Her, deep inside me.
In all my ups and downs of my life, I remember and seek Her blessings. I strongly feel Her, directing me in some of my difficult times. I have also faced Her wrath when I crossed the limits!
And when I saw Kantara shining out bright with its concept of Kula Deivam, the land and people's life blended around it made much closer to my heart. I related myself with my Deivam.
For a moment, I felt I was standing at the doorsteps of my Devi's shrine.
Thank you Rishab Shetty!
He is the man who stands tall in this remarkable work. It is an impeccable task to win both as a director and actor. Rishab made it possible with his sheer hardwork and dedication, which is evident on-screen!
The way he blended the ancient folklore with the storyline which he intended to convey is much commendable. He also highlighted the traditional sport of Karnataka - Kambala.
I appreciate Rishab Shetty and the whole crew for bringing out such a divine subject deeprooted with our ancient beliefs and life, in this age where Atheism has been a fashion statement (mostly by Hindu Youths). To mock and disdain the Hindu Gods and its beliefs are growing amongst youngsters. And films like Bahubali, RRR, Kadaisi Vivasayi are making the right difference by throwing the light of divinity into the dark souls of such youths. Let their souls open up to have the light! These films spoke the truth and reality that divinity, spirituality and our lives on this soil are inseparable. There is no caste, creed, language indifferences in this mighty ocean called Hinduism. Those indifferences are invented by men and should be fought and resolved by men ourselves! I would say it is foolish to stay away, ignoring or taking shelter under the dark atheist umbrella without enjoying the rain of spirituality showered by our Hinduism. This rain is much essential to get drenched, quench the thirst of ignorance and stay awakened from the miseries of the life.
Kantara's Music was exemplary. So is the cinematography, editing and other technical areas.
A must watch theatrical experience. Now its available in tamil dubbed version too.
Finally, I want to complete my view about the film with this note.
I wish lets us all wait for such a magical moment which comes in the climax of this film. To reach our ancestors who would show us the way to The God.

Kollywood or Dravidawood?!

There is no shortage for virtue-signallers in Kollywood who function as propagandists for the DMK. There is actor Suriya Sivakumar who became vocal in the lead up to the 2021 Assembly Elections, parrotting the DMK’s rhetoric on NEET, National Education Policy and other issues.

Tamil nadu's Anti-Hindu Dravidian Stocks!

The behaviour of DMK leaders show the inherent anti-Hindu mindset. By vulgarly describing Hindu rituals in marriage at an Islamic event, failing to take action against his MPs who insult Hindu sentiments and rituals, remaining silent about those who offend the Hindu faith, rewarding them in recent appointments, and forging relationships with Christian pastors who offend the Hindu faith, the DMK demonstrates that the party is anti-Hindu.
