Malena, The Movie

MALENA
The movie which is a must watch by all sets of people. Especially the Sex driven savages! The film clearly established sex isn't the ultimate pleasure in this world. A clear portrayal of a woman who lives a miserable life in an unethical, pervert world. The harmful eyes and the poisonous mouth of the people living around Malena makes the place a more dreadful one to live!

There is a saying in Tamil
கண்ணால் காண்பதும் பொய், காதால் கேட்பதும் பொய், தீர விசாரிப்பதே மெய்! Which exactly fits in to this film.

The meaning for the above mentioned saying is...
What we see through our eyes is fake,
What we hear through our ears is also fake,
The reality and the truth lies on the way we approach and analyse things!

Each and every character were portrayed well...
Monica Bellucci as Malena Scordia provided her best!
Giuseppe Sulfaro as Renato Amoroso given his heart and mind to the character
Luciano Fredrico as Renato's Father scored at the climax where he takes his son to a brothel area which is the only place which can satisfy his envy and eagerness about Sex
Matilde Piana as Renato's Mother installed the impression of very old kind of ignorant mother who revolves around superstitious beliefs and customs
Pietro Notarianni as Professor Bonsignore, the typical kind of Professor who plays very less time on screen but leaves a very sharp impression in us.
Gaetano Aronica as Nino Scordia showed both flexiblity and rigidity for his character wherever needed. His eyes explored in and around at the scene where he leaves to Messina in search of his wife
And all other roles have their own clear definition as sketched by Luciano Vincenzoni
Giuseppe Tornatore made it clear that THE REALITY IS REALITY and NO COMPROMISES TO IT! Hats Off! The kind of cruelty happening to a woman inside her home with no one for help is being narrated well with his idea of shots and angles, The shadows narrating the story is what I admired in this film.
Lajos Koltai's Camera made a perfect imprint on Dictator Mussolini's Italy and also the Miserable, undercover kind of life of Malena.
Ennio Morricone, The man who added the essential nutrients to this film with his Background Scores. Still they are lingering in me! Truly... He is the Italian Spaghetti!
At Last, I thank the director and story writer of Malena for the climax of the film.
The reason is making Malena's life a happier one, who withstood all the bloody wounds on her body and deep hurts inside her heart!
This clearly proves that the director and story writer had their love and respect to Malena and hence we had the satisfying and fine end of the film.

MALENA - MAGNIFICIO FILM!
