Lots of positivity and spiritual moments.
As always, heavy crowd, push, sweat and overwhelming love towards Emperuman Shivan from lakhs of His devotees.
Could see many villagers from in and around Tamilnadu and other states, came with their entire family flocking Thiruvannamalai for Shiva Dharisanam, Girivalam and Shivarathiri.
This time, one amazing sight which we witnessed was Unnamulai Amman shrine glazed with early morning sunrays, which looked like directly flowing from sky, that hurriedly running in joy, jumping into the shrine, to get a glimpse and blessings of Thayar Diviyaroopam.
Then the Girivalam walk was more tedious under hot sun.
Being an Agni Sthalam, Thiruvannamalai was like furnace, which made us tired throughout the walk. But there was also this merciful, soul-awakening wind here and there, which made us to take the next step, chanting 'Namashivaya' with a tearful smile.
When throat got dried, 'a glass full of buttermilk' called me from nowhere, with a caring shout, to have it for free and continue the walk!
Our footsteeps prolonged with the mercy of those age-old tree's shadows around Girivala path.
Non-stop fun, laughter, self-troll, mocking our life's plight and ironies amidst scorching sun during
Girivalam walk, along with the Mr.Mischief, Ramnath
He was tired yet not ready to give up in completing his first Girivalam
Emperumaan Shivan would have been happy to see such a true and caring devotee!
May his prayers and wishes come true to shed happiness and prosperity
Thiruvannamalai was engulfed with Ilayaraja's Om Sivoham, SPB's Emperumaan Shiva Bhakthi songs and chants. Blessed are thy souls!
As usual, our eyes forgot to blink, looking at those mega structures of Gopurams, sculptures with intrinsic detailings, standing as an solid proof, narrating those past historical events, happenings through stones!
Remembered Guru Ramana Maharishi and that straight look of Him into our soul, which keeps on enquiring... 'Who are you?'
One handful of Puliyotharai, Sweet pongal and bottle of water made us to complete the entire Girivalam.
Thiruvannamalai as always was more spiritual, mystical and caring!
