Malayankunju, The Film

Next to Trapped, Malayankunju is my favourite survival thriller film from Indian film industry.
The whole film as a fabric is beautifully woven around the intriguing Anikuttan's (played by Fahadh Fassil) character.
I got more eager when I saw that the music composed for this film was by AR Rahman. He truly gave some new dimensions to the characters and their unusual situations.
The most interesting part is the writing of this film. Mahesh Narayanan's writings and those divine, humane moments in the second half, will take you closer to Anikuttan.
From inside out, the darkness, the cry, the pain, the yell and finally the smile...! Fahadh nailed all those seconds. He is malayalam film industry's proud asset who is going to last long and create his own benchmark level of acting! The statement is so evident with all his past and recent performances.
After Thalaivar Rajinikanth, Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan and Aamir Khan's on-screen performance, it was for Fahadh, for whom I cried. You can name it from Bangalore Days to Malayankunju.
The Cinematography, Editing, Sound Design and other areas contributed their best to give the audience the real-life like experience of Anikuttan
Do watch the film, available in Amazon Prime.
